I would speculate that if there is an Asia PM, he/she would more likely be a Hindu / Sikh before a Muslim candidate...and would probably have to convert to Christianity. (Which a muslim candidate would struggle to do and still be accepted in their community) to get the top spot..This is just based on what you're seeing in US politics as a comparison..
Bobby Jindal - born Hindu, convert to Christianity, Governor of Louisiana
Nikki Haley - born Sikh, convert to Christianity, Governor of South Carolina.
Neel Kashkari - practicing Hindu, ex Goldman Sachs partner who might be the next Governor of California
Preet Bharara - District Attorney for NY, expected to be next US Attorney General after Eric Holder. Sikh, but Christian wife, and kids raised Christian.
